Set in the futuristic city of San Fransokyo. Fourteen year old Hiro (Ryan Potter) is a robotics prodigy who gains inspiration from his older brother Tadashi (Daniel Henney) the inventor of Baymax. Baymax (Scott Adsit) is an inflatable robot that diagnoses illnesses and helps cure them. After a tragic event Hiro inherits Baymax and meddles with his mindset in order to perform combat moves. Four friends Fred, Honey Lemon, Wasabi and Go Go team up with them to form big hero six.
This animated comedy adventure revolves itself around the relationship and growing bond between Baymax and Hiro. A moderate amount of funny scenes throughout both aimed at the younger and maturer generation. One of the funniest moments of the movie for me was when Baymax's battery is draining from power and his computer state is very out of character making good comical scenes. Combining also with heartfelt moments that will leave you a little bit emotional. The relationship built up between Hiro and Baymax is heartwarming to see. On the downside for me was that the villain was predictable and there was no whodunnit syndrome. Also I found the main character (Hiro) difficult to warm to for the most part of the film. A lighthearted film suitable for small children and big kids alike.

Positive: Relationship between Baymax and Hiro
Negative: Took a bit of time to warm to the main character Hiro
Overall Rating: 6/10
